The Society of Sales and Marketing, SSM, is one of the larger sales and marketing industry professional bodies in the United Kingdom.

The Society represents and serves the interests of people working in sales, marketing, retailing and international trade in the UK and abroad. The organisation offers access to information, advice and support, and provide networking, profesional development opportunities through a wide variety of events, conferences, workshops and graduation ceremonies. The Society strives to achieve, and surpass international standards of efficiency and quality. It is also committed to providing high quality service for its members.

The Society offer four courses offered at three different levels. These includes:

SSM Certificate Level
The purpose of this certificate Course is to provides the basic knowledge to enable you to carry out sales and marketing routine duties.

SSM Advanced Certificate Level
The purpose of the Advanced Certificate level is to provide the basic knowledge and further understanding of the theory and practice necessary to enable you to become an efficient professional. It prepares you for the Society's Diploma, the final professional qualification.

SSM Diploma Level
The SSM Diploma is the final professional examination stage and is designed to teach the theory and practice to become an efficient professional. It provides advanced specialism in management practice. On completion of the course, the candidate is eligible for Graduate membership.
