Certificate in Management (SCQF)

This qualification is designed for supervisors and first line managers who have operational responsibility for a defined area of activity. Based on the National Occupational Standards for Management and Leadership, this qualification is recognised at Level 6 on the Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework. There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification. However, candidates are likely either to hold a Certificate in Team Leading and/or have a few years experience at supervisory or first line management level. Certificate in Team Leading (SCQF)

Based on the National Occupational Standards for Management and Leadership, the Diploma in Management is recognised at Level 9 on the Scottish Credit Qualifications Framework. There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification. However, candidates are likely either to hold a Certificate in Management and/or have several years experience at supervisory or first line management level. Executive Diploma in Management (SCQF)

This qualification is intended for the senior manager who has the authority and personal inspiration to translate organisational strategy into effective operational performance. It is equally valuable for the person who aspires to such a role, by helping them to gain the knowledge and understanding necessary. It requires the manager to build on their management skills and to focus on the requirements of implementing the organisation’s strategy. The optional areas enable the Learner to develop greater depth of knowledge in the area chosen. The qualification consists of FIVE units which all Learners have to take, and THREE units selected from a further five units. In most cases, the Approved Centre will have selected the optional units it will offer, and so not all optional units will be available to all Learners at all Centres.
