Another event to mention this week is on the 6th September. A Japanese Kendama (cup-and-ball) group, consisting of Yusuke Ito and Edo-Daikagura (a traditional Japanese circus skill) performer, Senwaka, will perform at the south bank. This event is free. The duo will display their dynamic and artful techniques, and demonstrate some fine examples of Japanese cultural heritage. This promises to be a truly breathtaking and entertaining performance; a captivating and thrilling event for all the family. Following their performance, there will also be a chance for audience members to have a go and try these traditional skills for themselves. This tour is presented by the Japan Foundation in association with the above UK venues. For more information please follow this link.
